Hi there.

Welcome to my blog. I document all my adventures, big and small. Enjoy your Adventure!

In Order: The Marvel Cinematic Universe

In Order: The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Like clearly many people this weekend, Mike and I were among the 1.2 Billion dollars paid to witness the epic finale of this MCU journey, Avengers: Endgame. As I know there are still many who have not seen it, don’t worry, I will be keeping my posts and social media spoiler free for at least the next couple weeks. All I will say is that it was full of emotions and I really enjoyed it and plan on seeing it at least one more time in the next few weeks before writing my thoughts on it.

I wanted to use this blog post to list out the order I would put all the previous 21 movies in to help me figure out where I might put Endgame.

This first set are movies I have watched once and besides maybe one more for a couple of them, will probably not watch again until we have to show them to our children.

21. The Incredible Hulk
20. Thor: Dark World
19. Iron Man 3
18. Iron Man 2

17. Captain America: Civil War

While I am sure I will get a lot of disagreement on this last one, I am just not a fan of the conflict in this one. It was a good movie that had some great parts, but seeing the team split the way it did, especially between Captain America and Iron Man, just hurt my heart a bit. This one I would rewatch again, but reluctantly.

All the rest of the movies I enjoy and would watch multiple times, but I had to decide an order because that is the way lists works. I just find some of these more entertaining than others.

16. Captain America: Winter Soldier
15. Ant Man
14. Thor
13. Ant Man and Wasp
12. Captain America
11. Iron Man

Captain America and Iron Man are two that could switch back and forth depending on how I am feeling that day.

You will find that a lot of my top 10 are newer movies. The higher the movies get, the more that Mike and I have rewatched them and probably quote them on an almost daily basis.

10. Captain Marvel
9. Avengers: Age of Ultron
8. Guardians of the Galaxy 2
(Some may question why this is as high as it is and the answer is Baby Groot.)
7. Spiderman Homecoming
6. Doctor Strange

The Top 5

5. Avengers
4. Guardians of the Galaxy
3. Black Panther
2. Thor: Ragnarok
1. Avengers: Infinity War

Those last few, especially Ragnarok and Infinity War I can watch daily.

Where does this leave Endgame in my mind? I think it will absolutely make the top 5, but I cannot make an exact decision until I see it again and wrap my brain around all the feels it creates.

What is your top 5 MCU Movies? Have you seen Endgame yet? Leave you comments (spoiler-free please) below!
